post-Halloween at sea

We had Halloween on board yesterday, as well as ship's Sunday. This is the second time I've done this on BOUNTY- so I was prepared. I laid in a stock of candy(1) for the trick-or-treaters who came to the bow when I was on forward lookout.
We dogged the watches, so I'm now on "nappy" watch, 4-8, so called because you get to nap from 08 to 12 after the night watch. It is the most comfortable watch, and you get sunset and sunrise during.
It looks as if we're in the real tradewinds now and we made a run of 2 degrees 15 minutes west yesterday, totally under sail. We're optimistic about our quick arrival at St. Thomas.
(1) Bounty bars, what else?
