Today we celebrated Guy Falkes Day by having a hands on demonstration of signaling pyrotechnics for attracting rescuers. We used out-of-date items- I got a parachute flare and started the festivities.
We have another hawk aboard- It's doing a pretty good job of catching the sea birds, and I hope it survives. We don't know what happened to our previous visitor.
The main t'gallant yard was glued up today, so we expect to have it up soon.
And I'm running satellite orbit prediction software so maybe we'll get a sight of the ISS.
The software I'm using doesn't allow for a moving observer, so I have to enter our position and recalculate if it looks close.
I'm living in the 21st century on an 18th century boat. Tomorrow I'll go on an RFI hunt on that boat.
